The Arab Energy Fund maintains a robust governance framework
that reflects its role as a multilateral,
governance-led institution. Over fifty years, the Fund has refined its oversight structures to support disciplined decision-making, effective risk management, and long-term institutional resilience.
The Board operates through four specialized committees that strengthen oversight and clarify accountability across priority areas:
01
Board Executive Committee (BEC)
02
Audit and Compliance Committee (ACC)
03
Risk and Sustainability Committee (RSC)
04
Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC)
In 2025, these committees continued to strengthen
Board oversight and support disciplined
governance across the Fund’s activities. Independent members were also appointed to bring specialized expertise, further enhancing the depth and effectiveness of committee supervision.
Key governance documents and policies were reviewed and updated to support Fund’s strategy and remain aligned with the best practices and operating environment. Coordination between the Board and Executive Management reinforces transparency, accountability, and institutional discipline across all functions.
