08/05/2010 – Mr. Al-Nuaimi is heading the Corporation delegation to the 9th Arab Energy Conference

Mr. Ahmad Al-Nuaimi, APICORP’s Chief Executive and General Manager, is heading the Corporation delegation to the 9th Arab Energy Conference, which is being hosted in Doha, from 9 to 12 May. This premier event takes place every four years to explore the theme of “energy and Arab co-operation” (click here for this year’s program).

Following a well-established tradition, APICORP has been invited to prepare a background report on the energy investment outlook. This report and the associated Economic Commentary for May are available in the Research section. The report’s key findings and recommendations will be presented for discussion at a panel of high level policy-makers. The corresponding PPT, titled The Arab Energy Investment Outlook : What Policies for the ‘New Normal’? summarizes, complements and updates the background report, and takes a broader view to initiate the panel discussion. It will be posted on 10 May, the day of the panel discussion.
