Saudi Arabia, May 24, 2022 – The Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation (APICORP), a multilateral lending institution, today announced that it has become an Associate Member of the International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers (IACPM), a not-for-profit industry association with a membership of more than 130 of the world’s largest financial institutions. 

The IACPM’s Board of Directors, composed of industry practitioners, drives the Association actions and activities. As a member of the IACPM, APICORP will benefit from the exchange of knowledge, research, and participation in surveys to assess opinions and industry practices. The IACPM will also provide APICORP with a forum to develop important market and standard practices for the industry. Examples include the IACPM Sound Practices in Credit Portfolio Management, which continues to be a benchmark for assessing CPM units for practitioners and regulators alike.

The IACPM is a global industry association established to further the practice of credit exposure management by providing an active forum for its members to exchange ideas. Membership in the IACPM is open to all financial institutions that manage portfolios of corporate loans, bonds or similar credit sensitive financial instruments.
