Business as usual at APICORP

30/05/2004 – The Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation (APICORP) announces that, its Head Office in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia, was attacked by some armed individuals at about 07:15 a.m. on Saturday 29 May 2004.

Three fatalities resulted from the attack. The premises of the company suffered no damage. The Saudi authorities secured the place and took appropriate measures.

The company has resumed business as usual.

APICORP is an inter-Arab company specialised in the petroleum sector and is owned by member states of the Organisation of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC), namely: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait, Syria, Egypt, Libya and Algeria.
